What Now

Thank you for visiting our site. If you are here because you received one of our printed materials, welcome. All of our materials are designed so that you may be woken up to your position with God. I trust that you read the material that you received and are interested in learning further.

First of all, if you have read the materials (tract) than this will serve as somewhat of as a reminder. The tract should have told you things about yourself that most people don’t consider very often. Most people don’t go through out their days wondering how they have offended a Holy, Perfect, and Righteous GOD. How has the message of the Gospel affected you? Have you seen yourself as GOD sees you? The Bible declares in  1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The word there for “confess” doesn’t mean go and tell some other person about our sins. It means in the original Greek language “to say the same thing or agree”. That means “IF” you can see that you are a sinner because you may have lied, stolen, blasphemed GOD’s name, and or but not limited to lusted (committed adultery), murdered (hated your fellow man), or broken any other of the Ten Commandments, and you deserve GOD’s judgement and wrath (punishment) than you are close to salvation. Once you can “agree” with GOD’s word about your spiritual state, and, REPENT, that means turn away from your sins, forsake them, hate your sin and turn toward GOD and love Him more than any sin you may have loved before, then the other part of 1 John 1:9 can apply to you, “He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” You need to forsake also any good thing that you think that you can do to earn your way to eternal life or Heaven. God’s salvation or forgiveness is not based on anything that we can do, salvation is entirely based on what Jesus did for you on the cross. Ephesians 2: 8-10 says, for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD; not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which GOD hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

So, if you do agree with GOD’s word, what now? The first thing you need to do is pray. Prayer is simply talking to GOD. Ask GOD to save you and forgive all of your sins and to make you a child of His. Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of GOD by faith in Christ Jesus. And, Acts2:21 And it shall come to pass that whoever call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.
Continue in prayer every day. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Second: The next thing that you as a new Christian should do is get to know GOD more. Jesus said “love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.” Luke 10:27. Get a Bible preferably a King James Version (KJV) or a New King James Version (NJKV). You can even start by looking up and reading them for yourself the scripture references used in this “What Now” page. God will give you an understanding for His word that you may never have had before. You will have an appetite for the things of GOD and His word. Jesus said that “man shall not live by bread (food) alone but by every word that comes from GOD. (Matthew 4:4)

Third: You should have also a desire to fellowship with other believers. Proverbs 27:17 says, As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. This is saying that when believers get together and talk about the things of GOD and Jesus then they encourage each other in the things of the LORD. In 1 John 3:14 says, We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Here GOD says that if you have life through Jesus than you will love other Christians, but if you don’t love others than you prove that you don’t have life.
Find a church that teaches the Bible straight from the Bible. Do not settle for a church that only teaches sermons about how to have a better life. Look for a church that teaches the Word of GOD as it is written with a real belief that what the Bible says is true.

Fourth: Grow in holiness. Be separate from the world and it’s desires for you. If you do the above things than GOD will work in you through His gifts of Repentance and Faith, and, through your praying to GOD and fellowshipping with the church (the brethren), GOD will grow you in holiness. Also your love for Jesus will cause you to desire to be holy (set aside or dedicated to GOD). Luke 1: 74-75 That He would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve Him without fear, 75 In holiness and righteousness before Him, all the days of our life.

Finally, you should have a great zeal to share what GOD has done for you. For If God has delivered you form the wrath and punishment that you deserve than you surely know others that also are deserving of the same. So who is going to tell them about the good news (Gospel)? Romans 10:14 tells us, How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they beleive in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? You can do this, you must do this. You call tell others about Jesus and what He has done for you. You may be the only person that can ever tell someone about Jesus Christ, the only One that can save your loved ones and friends.

If you have trusted in Jesus to save you and repented of your sins, we would love to hear from you. You can let us know by e-mail us at or you can go to the "Testimony" page and fill out the info there. *Filling out the "testimony" page will allow Gospel In A Tract to publish this material in whole or partial on the web site for others to be encouraged.

We are also here to help you share the Gospel with all of our Gospel centered tracts and other materials.

Thank You and God Bless You.
